Dr. Saad Nano is certified by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. He is the Medical Director and a Consultant in Obstetrics-Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine & Infertility with 25 years of practical experience in three different countries (Sweden, Belgium, and Syria). Dr. Nano obtained his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Damascus University and was certified by the Free University of Brussels and the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. His practical experience in addition to Obstetrics-Gynecology includes Reproductive Medicine & Infertility in Nordic Europe, West Europe, and the Middle East.
Mr. Khaled Abu Ali is the IVF Lab Manager at the American Hospital with Livio. Mr. Khaled has more than 12 years of experience in many leading fertility centers in Sweden, Jordan, and Oman. Mr. Khaled is experienced in all aspects of ART including IVF, ICSI, Embryo and Blastocyst Culture, PGT (preimplantation genetic testing), egg and embryo freezing, and all aspects of male-related infertility including semen analysis, semen preparation for intrauterine insemination (IUI), conventional IVF, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), isolation and preparation of surgically retrieved sperm cells (microsurgical TESE, TESA, PESA), sperm viability tests, and sperm/testicular tissue freezing. Mr. Khaled obtained his Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Degree in 2008 from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, and then he went on to complete his higher studies at Umeå University, Sweden, in which he obtained a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology in 2012. He is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the Middle East Fertility Society (MEFS), and the Swedish Society for Reproductive Medicine (SSRM).
